I particularly like the clips you use for the repeated line about how "she burns like petrol soaked paper and fireworks," how you parellel them, and how you let clips "breathe" - like the bit where we can hear Rey's cry/strangled breathing as Snoke controls her body.

I recced your vid and figured out how to articulate one of my favorite things about it, which I wanted to share: "I'm particularly struck by the vidder's use of the line "I'd frozen over my desire / covered up in virgin snow" for Ben. Initially, he seems like someone who burns so hot that it's strange. But his desire for good things like love and connection was forced into a deep freeze. It was only rage and pain that was stoked up, until Rey. And, well, "virgin" definitely fits ;)" Anyway: YOU ROCK! :)
oh my god, thank you for such detailed review! and I agree that this line completely mirrows Ben because for me he was always between ice and fire and meeting rey is like meeting someone who has the same fight inside but if he was born to be light and chose the dark she was supposed to be dark instead but never let go of light. so they need to find their balance together and this is what makes this story even more fascinating to watch. I hope we will not be dissapointed in ep9 :)
